On a day off I love to get my walking boots on or bike, go for a country walk somewhere in the peak district (always helps if there's a pub at the end!).

I love travelling, getting in the car for a spontaneous road trip, Sunderland has been close to my heart, going to South Shields and Whitley Bay (even if it is just to have affogato (Ice cream with a shot of expresso) wrapped up on the beach!).

I LOVE Cornwall, one of my absolute favourite places to visit, chill and explore. My other love is New York City, what's not to love? Completely the opposite from Cornwall, however the amount of exploring is endless, I've been twice and I've still got more to see and I'm constantly getting lost (but being lost in NYC isn't too bad!)

Apart from travelling, what I love most is getting comfy with my two cats, switching on Netflix and a nice cold pint of beer, heaven.

In my spare time I love DIY, sewing including making my own clothes ect, houseplants and London musicals (Wicked is my fave show!)

If you like my style come say HI!

About me!

Hi I'm Pippa!

I'm a Derbyshire based wedding photographer who loves shooting bright, colourful and elegant work!

If you like my work I'd love to chat! But in the meantime here's a bit about myself.

My love for photography started in college when I studied Fine art & Design and got given my first camera as a present (a Canon 1200D!).

I then decided to study photography and videography at university where my passion grew, I absolutely loved it and learnt how to express myself through my work, however I was completely baffled trying to decide which route to go down so I worked as a freelance photographer for a while, shooting portraits, headshots and working with jewellery designers to showcase their work.

This is when I purchased my first professional camera (Canon 5D Mark II) which meant I was committed!

I fell in love with wedding photography when I had the opportunity to work as a second for an amazing wedding photographer who was shooting a family friends wedding. She gave me so much advice and ever since I was hooked and never looked back!

Since then I've photographed over 100 weddings and met some of my closest friends. Trust me when I say it's not been easy to go solo and start my own business, it's stressful and hard sometimes but I wouldn't change it for the world!
