A Sunny Maternity Shoot at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire


This gorgeous maternity photoshoot at Cannock Chase was blessed with the perfect sunny weather, warm light filtering through the pines and a peaceful woodland backdrop that Staffordshire is so loved for. The session was a surprise birthday gift from Emma’s best friend, making it an even more meaningful experience to capture!

A Gentle Woodland Walk


We wandered along the woodland paths at Cannock Chase, keeping the walk short and relaxed, perfect for a maternity session. The tall trees and glowing sunshine created the dreamiest setting for natural maternity photos, giving them a gallery filled with warm, authentic moments.


One of the loveliest parts of this outdoor maternity shoot was featuring their sweet family dog! A little blind girl with the kindest nature. Pets are ALWAYS welcome in my sessions, and including their fur baby made the images even more personal and meaningful. If you're looking for maternity photography with dogs, Cannock Chase is a beautiful place to bring them along.

From Nervous to Comfortable


Like many couples, Emma and her partner were nervous at first about being in front of the camera. With simple prompts, gentle guidance and a focus on natural interactions, they quickly relaxed and enjoyed the moment. This is exactly how I approach all my candid maternity photography sessions, making sure everything feels easy, relaxed and true to you.


What began as a thoughtful gift turned into a joy-filled morning celebrating pregnancy, parenthood and their growing family. I absolutely loved capturing this Cannock Chase maternity shoot, and I know these photographs will be cherished for years to come!
